This page explains how to permanently delete your Nishnush account and all the data associated with it. Nishnush is operated by Furman Labs.
1. Delete your account from the app
The fastest way to delete your account is directly inside the Nishnush app:
- Open the Nishnush app and sign in.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Your account and all associated data are deleted immediately and permanently. This action cannot be undone.
2. Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, email us at office@furmanlabs.com from the email address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify your request and delete your account and data within 30 days.
3. What data is deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently delete all data associated with it, including:
- Your account and profile (email, sign-in identifier, gender, height, weight, date of birth, activity level, and goals).
- Your calculated calorie and macro targets and language preference.
- All of your food log entries and the food photos stored for them.
- Your full weight history.
4. What data is kept
We do not keep a copy of your personal data after deletion. Anonymized, aggregate records that cannot identify you (such as internal usage counters) may remain. Where the law requires us to retain certain records, we keep only what is legally required and delete it once that obligation ends.
